Unified Theory

About the best piece of reporting on scientific epistemology ever written came out this week in the New Yorker. It talks about how theories of everything are about bigger concepts than particle level detail. See the article here https://www.newyorker.com/science/elements/a-different-kind-of-theory-of-everything

Larger concepts are better for finding breakthroughs than scientific big data. My father was a reactionary (maybe unreformed?) Newtonian. His view essentially predicted paired electrons. My guess is that if you pair enough in close enough proximity, you can create a stable worm hole. Check back in between 2 and 200 years to see if I am correct.
